About this course
Category A: Asbestos Awareness
This course is aimed at making the candidates aware of the dangers associated with unknowingly coming into contact with asbestos. If you work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks.
This course does not train you to work with asbestos containing materials (ACMs).
The course will take you approximately 1 hour.
Certification
On successfully completing the course, you will be automatically issued a SAMS-approved certificate. This certificate is valid for a year from the date of issue.

You can pay for the course using Paypal or any credit or debit card. Payment is secure via Paypal – if you don’t have a Paypal account, you will be given the option to pay with a credit or debit card.
There’s no time limit on when you need to complete the course after purchase – and there’s no need to do the course in a single session. The course saves your progress so you don’t need to re-do any sections if you prefer to finish the course in more than one go.
